About Frances

Key issues

Clean Air & Water
LGBTQ Rights
Decolonization
Civic Engagement
Frances is a grassroots political organizer, who for the last decade has worked as the Deputy Director of Development for @PeaceAction—the nation’s largest grassroots peace network—to help organize to place pressure on Congress and the federal administration through write-in campaigns, internet actions, grassroots lobbying and direct action. She is also co-creator of The Constituents' Guide to Civic Engagement, and has previously worked as a coordinator at Outfest—LA's LGBTQ film festival. She's running to bring much needed leadership to CA34, which historically has been one of the most progressive districts in Southern California; taking on Jimmy Gomez who, while reliably progressive when it comes to voting, has taken dirty money and been more of a follower than a leader on key issues.
